Perspective is one of those words with more than one use.  I am thinking more about art rather than the state of one’s ideas. The artist draws us into the scene by placement, size and color of the subject. How often have you looked  at a painting starting with an overall  view and find your eyes moving further into the picture giving you another impression of what you are seeing?  This is probably due to perspective.
